Howdy, iam Glenn Leal, Have a good day!
Oh man, I’m so worried about my kid - he’s got a 99 fever! It’s enough to make me sick with worry. Ugh, why does this always happen? I mean, it’s like the universe is out to get me or something. Anyway, I guess all I can do is take a deep breath and try to stay calm. Hopefully it’ll pass soon and we can put this whole thing behind us. Fingers crossed!
Is A 99 Fever Something To Worry About? [Solved]
Yup, 98.6 is the norm for most of us, but if your temp’s a bit higher it’s still cool. If you’re running between 100.4 and 102.2 though, you’ve got yourself a low-grade fever - not fun!
Monitor Temperature: It is important to monitor your temperature if you have a fever of 99°F or higher. This will help you determine if the fever is increasing or decreasing and whether medical attention is needed.
Seek Medical Attention: If your temperature remains at 99°F or higher for more than 24 hours, it is important to seek medical attention as soon as possible.
Stay Hydrated: Drinking plenty of fluids can help reduce the severity of a fever and prevent dehydration, which can be dangerous in high temperatures.
Rest: Getting plenty of rest can help your body fight off infection and recover from a fever faster.
Avoid Overheating: Avoid activities that may cause overheating, such as exercising or spending time in hot environments like saunas or hot tubs, while you have a fever of 99°F or higher.
I’m 99% sure I’ve got a fever, and it’s really worrying me. Ugh, I feel so hot! It’s like my body is on fire. Yikes! I hope it goes away soon.
